The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryan stuns Heathen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bryan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Heathen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Heathen throws a right hand that misses
and Bryan counters with a stiff right hand.
Heathen looks to score with a jab to the body but Bryan is just out of range.
Nice defenses there by Bryan .
Heathen throws a poor cross that misses
letting Bryan counter with a right hand.
Heathen gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bryan misses with a punch to the body.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Heathen.
Bryan throws a head punch that misses.
Bryan blocks an elbow strike.
Heathen breaks from the clinch.
Heathen misses with a hook.
Bryan clinches up with Heathen and pushes him back against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Bryan blocks a punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Heathen displaying some good clinch control by pressing Bryan up against the cage.
Bryan throws a punch but it's blocked by Heathen.
Bryan misses with a hook from the clinch.
Heathen throws a knee to the head but misses.
Heathen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Heathen swings widly with a right hand
and Bryan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bryan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Heathen is rocked!
Heathen swings widly with a right hand
and Bryan counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Heathen out cold! What a finish! Bryan is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
