Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenton Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andersson moves into range and clinches up with Figueroa.
Andersson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Figueroa to keep the fight standing.
Figueroa tries to break the clinch but Andersson is controlling the position.
Andersson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Figueroa.
Figueroa creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Andersson has hold of one of Figueroa's legs. Figueroa is fighting the takedown attempt but Andersson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andersson is looking to pass into half guard but Figueroa pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Figueroa is in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Andersson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Figueroa gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Figueroa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Andersson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Andersson looks to land a combination but Figueroa avoids it well.
Andersson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Figueroa as he jumps to the side.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Andersson throws a nice looking combination but Figueroa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Figueroa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Andersson is still in real trouble! Can Figueroa finish him?
Figueroa gets to his feet and stands over Andersson, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Andersson felt that one! Figueroa unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Andersson from any more punishment!
