Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Phil Harrass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichi Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrass's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tomorrow. Phil Harrass has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phil Harrass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ichi Takeshi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrass bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Takeshi's head backwards.
Takeshi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Harrass has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hellfire Antechamber in the buildup to the fight.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Takeshi.
Harrass wants to control but Takeshi postures up.
Takeshi works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Harrass tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Takeshi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Harrass's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Takeshi seems to be working for a kimura but Harrass defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Harrass gets full guard.
Harrass keeping moving, preventing Takeshi from controlling successfully.

Takeshi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harrass has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Takeshi has managed to get both his arms back between Harrass's legs - danger averted.

Harrass has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Takeshi escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Takeshi!

Takeshi closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Harrass's guard.

Harrass has his foot on Takeshi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Takeshi works his way back into a safe position though.

Takeshi goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Harrass rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Takeshi's guard! Nice work there by Harrass!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Harrass looks to land a right hand but Takeshi moved out of range.
Harrass throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Takeshi sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Takeshi has managed to clinch.
Harrass keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Takeshi's efforts to push away.
A nice left hand lands by Harrass.

Harrass gets control of Takeshi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Harrass will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Takeshi is taking a breather. Harrass says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
