Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinoa Smiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smiff misses with a low kick.
Ferreira misses with the combination.
Nice straight punches there by Ferreira. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ferreira.
Smiff throws a chopping leg kick but Ferreira manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Ferreira swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Smiff changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Smiff avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ferreira moves out of range of the leg kick from Smiff.
Smiff misses with a low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smiff shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Smiff was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ferreira is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Smiff is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Ferreira tries to hold on but Smiff pushes him away.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Smiff! Ferreira is hurt baaadly! Smiff is firing away with more strikes - Ferreira is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Quinoa Smiff decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
