The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters misses with a low kick as Piedt jumps back.
Masters lands a lovely overhand right.
Masters moves out of range as Piedt strikes.
Masters lands a nice looking body shot.
Masters scores with a jab to the jaw.
Nice cross by Masters.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Masters, as that shot connected.

Masters is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Piedt goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A nice leg kick lands there from Piedt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Masters throws an overhand right that lands on Piedt's shoulder, as Piedt tries to avoid the shot.
Piedt misses with a wild body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Masters, as that shot connected.

Piedt has taken the fight to the clinch.
Piedt blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Piedt misses with a punch to the body.
Piedt lands a body punch.
Piedt lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Masters backwards.
Piedt scores with a shot to the side of Masters's head.

It looks like Patrick Masters has been cut.
Piedt lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Masters.

Masters is rocked!
Masters is breathing heavily.
Piedt creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Masters with a big uppercut! Masters tries to clinch up but Piedt pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Masters to the mat! Masters covers up and Piedt unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
