Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pat Verbeek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Delphino Atlantis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atlantis has chosen The Prodigy - Firestarter as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atlantis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Verbeek sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Verbeek avoids the head kick by Atlantis.
Atlantis has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Verbeek throws a combination. Atlantis tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Verbeek's jab looks to have found its range, popping Atlantis under the eye.
Atlantis misses with a low kick as Verbeek jumps back.
Atlantis blocks a jab.
A jab from Atlantis finds it's way through Verbeek's defenses.
Atlantis fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Verbeek checks it well.
Verbeek's corner calls for a 1-2. Verbeek obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Atlantis is rocked!
Verbeek lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Atlantis up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Verbeek from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Atlantis's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pat Verbeek!
