Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zyd Xyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Xyd.
Xyd takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Brian Griffin has been cut.
Xyd tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Xyd throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Griffin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Xyd throws a head kick that misses.
Xyd misses with a body shot.
Griffin shoots in looking for a takedown but Xyd manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Griffin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Zyd Xyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Xyd moves away from the strike by Griffin.
Xyd cracks a nice hook into Griffin's ribs.
Xyd definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Griffin misses with a looping left.
Griffin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Xyd sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Xyd lands a big head kick that sends Griffin tumbling to the mat! Xyd takes a step backwards and waves Griffin back to his feet - he wants the finish!

That has opened up Brian Griffin's cut even more.
Look low, kick high! Xyd uses the oldest trick in the book to send Griffin tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Xyd is absolutely delighted - when Griffin wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
