The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stanislav thuds his shin into the meat of Silva's side.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stanislav sprawls well. Stanislav wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Stanislav moves into the clinch successfully.
Silva has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stanislav is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Silva wants to take the fight to the mat but Stanislav manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Stanislav pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Stanislav sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Stanislav goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Rodrigo Silva has been cut.

Stanislav lands a two punch combo.

Silva takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stanislav drives through and clinches with Silva against the cage.
Stanislav breaks from the clinch.
Stanislav throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Stanislav throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.
Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Stanislav counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Silva dives in and grabs Stanislav's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stanislav pushes down on Silva's head and hops out.
Silva shoots and misses
and Stanislav counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Silva off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Stanislav follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Silva was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Adam Stanislav!
