Larsen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lorde – Yellow Flicker Beat. Jake Larsen acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larsen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Larsen pushes off an throws an elbow but Meese leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Larsen jumps guard but Meese stands there with Larsen around his waist. Larsen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Larsen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Meese's defenses.

Meese gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Larsen.
Larsen has Meese pressed against the cage, preventing Meese from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Meese pushes Larsen off looking to stand but Larsen dives back in and keeps control.
Meese is refusing to be controlled, as Larsen sits in half guard.

Meese manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Meese avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Meese lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Larsen sprawling to the canvas. Meese follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Larsen hang on?

It looks like Jake Larsen has been cut.
Larsen is looking for a sweep. Meese is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Larsen is still in real trouble! Can Meese finish him?

Meese gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Meese throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Larsen walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Larsen limp body while Meese jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
