The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merdaka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ellis.
Merdaka lands a big uppercut and Ellis crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ellis looks OK. Merdaka waves Ellis back to his feet!
Ellis is rocked!
It looks like Cruz Ellis has been cut.
Ellis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Merdaka connects with a stiff jab that staggers Ellis - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
