Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Benson Whyte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whyte comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Marley - Jammin. On his way into the cage it seems that Benson Whyte has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Benson Whyte seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whyte throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Anderson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Whyte is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Whyte tests Anderson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Whyte fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Anderson misses with a takedown attempt
and Whyte counters with a straight right hand.
Whyte works the jab nicely.

Benson Whyte has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Anderson.
Whyte lands a jab to Anderson's midsection.

Benson Whyte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Whyte lunges at Anderson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Anderson's hand.
It looks like John Anderson has been cut.
Anderson misses with a takedown attempt
and Whyte connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Whyte feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Anderson collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

After winning the bout, Benson Whyte thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
