Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Fynn and Ceoghan Cartwright. Cartwright has chosen Disciples of Power - Born Unto Death as his entrance music. Ceoghan Cartwright told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 wins, 15 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Fynn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 wins, 16 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Hilo, Ceoghan Cartwright!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Francis DeMontford and Topper Green.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fynn is fending him off so far but Cartwright persists. Nope, Fynn circles away and we're back to standing.
A little feinted left hand from Fynn on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Cartwright misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fynn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cartwright wants to clinch.
Cartwright doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Fynn counter with a right hand.
Cartwright has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cartwright there as he acknowledges the shot.
Fynn tests Cartwright's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ceoghan Cartwright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cartwright tries to clinch up.
Cartwright staying out of range there.
Cartwright wants to counter with a clinch but Fynn pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cartwright shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fynn as he avoids it easily.
Fynn looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Bob Fynn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ceoghan Cartwright.

Fynn scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Cartwright moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fynn wanted to stand there but Cartwright had control of the position.

Fynn wants to control from the top but Cartwright keeps moving.
Fynn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cartwright is proving hard to escape from.
Fynn is working Cartwright over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Fynn throws a big elbow that misses.

Cartwright is looking for a triangle but Fynn pushes his legs off easily.
Cartwright is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Cartwright is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fynn postures up.

Fynn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cartwright has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fynn has managed to get both his arms back between Cartwright's legs - danger averted.
Fynn wanted to stand there but Cartwright had control of the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Cartwright is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fynn stands up over Cartwright, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Fynn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fynn would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Cartwright is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fynn wanted to stand there but Cartwright had control of the position.
Fynn with a flurry of punches that miss.
Fynn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fynn's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Cartwright is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Cartwright has his feet on Fynn's thighs here. He's pushed Fynn off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Fynn screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
