Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Don Julio Cesar Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Antonio Siffredi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Siffredi's choice of entrance music: Kill them all. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cesar Chavez misses with a body shot.
Siffredi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The fighters circling - Siffredi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Don Julio Cesar Chavez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Siffredi let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Siffredi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Siffredi throws a looping overhand right but Cesar Chavez ducks down to avoid it.
Siffredi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Cesar Chavez moves in looking to clinch but Siffredi pushes him off.
Siffredi appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Cesar Chavez drops Siffredi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Siffredi looks back up at him and smiles so Cesar Chavez waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Siffredi is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Cesar Chavez rather than just go for the knockout.
Cesar Chavez circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Siffredi to the canvas! Siffredi doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Cesar Chavez keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
