Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ewoud Roelof!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fleece Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roelof tries to work over Johnson's front leg with a kick but Johnson checks it.
A little jabbing left from Johnson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Johnson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Roelof is out of range.

Johnson catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Roelof stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Roelof walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Roelof's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Johnson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Roelof scrambles back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Having scored a knockdown, Fleece Johnson should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
