Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Herbert Queen!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Queen throws a series of punches but Taylor avoids them all with ease.
Queen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Taylor.
Taylor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Queen throws a series of punches but Taylor moves out of range.
Taylor could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Taylor doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Queen fails to land with a series of punches.
Taylor tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Queen manages to circle out of the way.
Taylor fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Queen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Taylor swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Taylor throws a right hand that Queen ducks under and follows up with a left that Queen also avoids with ease.
A looping hook to the body misses from Taylor. Queen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Queen misses with a two punch combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Taylor misses the shot to the body.
Queen jabs Taylor to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Taylor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Taylor takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Taylor throws a right and a left that Queen avoids nicely.
Queen throws out a counter right but Taylor avoids it with no problem.
Taylor throws a right and a left that Queen avoids nicely.
Taylor is breathing heavily.
Queen scores with a one two! Taylor had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


It looks like James Taylor has been cut.
No joy there for Taylor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Queen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Queen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Queen ducks under a wild hook from Taylor.
Taylor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Oooh a lovely combination from Queen sends Taylor down but not out. Queen dives into side control looking to finish.


Taylor is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Queen lands a huge shot from side control! Taylor is out cold! This one is all over!
