Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jan Karel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvey Specter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Specter has chosen Greenback Boogie as his entrance music. Harvey Specter is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harvey Specter!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Specter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Karel circles away.
Karel throws a quick counter kick to the body but Specter avoids it.
Specter misses with an uppercut.
Karel seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Karel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Specter swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Karel swings widly with a right hand
and Specter counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Specter clinches with his opponent.
Specter misses with a hook to the ribs.
Specter throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Specter tries a body shot but Karel blocks it.
Karel is looking to break free of the clinch but Specter has double underhooks.
Still in the clinch, Karel scores with a nice short uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Specter struggles to land a body shot inside as Karel controls his hands.

Specter turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Specter manages to end up in side control.

Specter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Karel has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Specter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Karel is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Specter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Karel, who protects the arm well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Specter misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Specter goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Karel rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Specter's guard! Nice work there by Karel!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


A looping hook to the body misses from Specter. Karel does a little dance to reset his feet.
Specter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Karel cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Specter tries to land a front kick but Karel steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Karel lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
A nice combination there by Karel.

and Karel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Specter tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Karel is able to avoid easily.
Karel lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Specter blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Specter wants a takedown but no success here.

Karel goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Specter chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Karel can pounce on him.

Specter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Karel doesn't seem bothered though.

A quick step to the side and Karel tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

It looked like Karel was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Specter does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

And Specter tries to counter it with a takedown but Karel pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Karel is looking to counter the offense by Specter and move into the clinch.
Specter throws a series of punches but Karel moves out of range.
Karel was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Specter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Karel checks a leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Specter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Karel pinned against the cage. Karel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Karel tries to counter by clinching up but Specter breaks away and moves out of range.
Karel scores with a one two! Specter had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Karel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Specter moves away.
Specter shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harvey Specter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Specter has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
