Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brij Khali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Forgiveness. Brij Khali will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 64 - 1, fighting out of New York, Brij Khali!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Khali wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Jones manages to pass to side control.


Jones is looking for a kimura but Khali is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jones to get the leverage.

Jones wants to work for an arm triangle but Khali is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Khali is trying to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Khali has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Khali has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jones is on him like a limpet, forcing Khali back against the cage.

Jones looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Khali is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Jones is staying active.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Khali keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Khali tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg.

Khali tries to kick Jones off but Jones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Jones tries to pass the half guard into mount. Khali knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Khali is trying to control Jones's posture. Jones takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Khali! Jones is rotating here... this could be the end... Khali is out! Jones has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
