Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jari Joutsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Bravo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joutsen throws a jab but it's blocked by Bravo.
Joutsen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Joutsen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Joutsen missing with a left hand there. Bravo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Joutsen avoids the body shot from Bravo.
A jab from Bravo does it's job there.
Joutsen throws a poor cross that misses
and Bravo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Joutsen sizes up Bravo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like John Bravo has been cut.
Nice shot lands for Joutsen.
Joutsen is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Joutsen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bravo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Joutsen misses with a left hand
and Bravo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bravo moves out of range of the strikes.
Bravo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bravo catches Joutsen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bravo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A big left from Joutsen misses.
Joutsen throws an overhand right that lands on Bravo's shoulder, as Bravo tries to avoid the shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bravo scores with a punch to the head.
Joutsen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bravo under the eye.
Joutsen is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Bravo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jari Joutsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bravo drops his hands momentarily. Joutsen doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Bravo staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Bravo doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
