Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wood's entrance music is Wardruna - Blood Eagle. A fine choice. Adams has chosen The Dark Knight Rises Theme as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood scores with a kick to the body.
Wood scores with a sloppy right hand. Adams should have avoided that one.
Adams throws a combination that misses
and Wood counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wood.
Adams looks winded!
Wood creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Adams's defenses.
Adams tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Adams tries to pull guard but Wood holds him up against the cage and eventually Adams drops back down to his feet.
Wood lands an elbow inside.
Wood has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Adams goes down! Wood dives on top of him - Adams manages to get guard.
Adams is rocked!
It looks like Dante Adams has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wood sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Adams's guard.
Adams is still in real trouble! Can Wood finish him?
Wood content to control rather than advance.
Wood has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Wood passes the guard and advances to mount!
Adams seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wood takes Adams's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Adams is in trouble.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wood has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Adams is in real trouble here. Wood gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Adams is tapping out! Wood wins by rear naked choke!
