Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juntti Jallu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Fjera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jallu throws a wild body kick that Fjera sees coming a mile off.
Fjera tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Jallu throws a nice looking combination but Fjera bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jallu tries to bum rush Fjera with a series of wild strikes but Fjera uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
It seemed like Fjera was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Fjera scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jallu doesn't seem bothered though.
Jallu looks to land a left hand but Fjera moved out of range nicely.

Jallu is looking to slow Fjera down with leg kicks.
Some bone on bone action there as Fjera checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Juntti Jallu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jallu throws a low kick but Fjera moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jallu tries to close the distance and clinch but Fjera swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fjera manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jallu on his heels. He'll look to pass Jallu's guard now, I'm sure.

Jallu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fjera prevents Jallu from getting back to his feet.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jallu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Fjera lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jallu throws a head kick but Fjera moves out of range.
Fjera on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jallu. Jallu obviously looking to wear him down.
Fjera shoots in looking for a takedown. Jallu tries to sprawl out of it but Fjera keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jallu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jallu throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Fjera connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jallu. Jallu circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Juntti Jallu has been cut.

Jallu walks into a stiff left hand from Fjera.
A left and a right from Fjera both land. Nice combination.

enabling Fjera to counter with a crisp jab.

Fjera floors Jallu with a big punch on the inside! Jallu is trying to recover but Fjera dives into side control.

Fjera in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Jallu is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
