Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Conor McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joel Leone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGregor comes to the cage accompanied by Bodecia. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor misses with a hook. Leone ducked under it nicely.
Leone misses the shot to the body.
Leone misses with the combination.
McGregor's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Leone connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McGregor scrambles back to his feet.
Leone throws a right hand that McGregor ducks under and follows up with a left that McGregor also avoids with ease.
Nice jab there from Leone.
Leone throws a hook but McGregor avoids it easily.
Leone takes a swing at McGregor's ribcage but misses.
McGregor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McGregor misses with a looping right.
Leone throws a shot from downtown. McGregor moves away and avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from McGregor, right into the meat.

Leone lands a glancing blow to the side of McGregor's head.
McGregor missing with a left hand there. Leone was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Leone throws a looping overhand right but McGregor ducks down to avoid it.
McGregor misses with the combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Leone! But no joy.
McGregor swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Leone counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Leone lands a two punch combo.
McGregor swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Leone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

McGregor is rocked!
McGregor is breathing heavily.
Leone closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops McGregor! Leone dives in looking to finish! McGregor is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
