The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jawbreak tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jawbreak has closed the distance and engaged Lowder in a clinch.
Lowder has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jawbreak avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Lowder tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jawbreak is trying to drag Lowder to the mat but Lowder just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Lowder gets underhooks to prevent Jawbreak's takedown attempt.
Jawbreak has Lowder pressed against the cage, preventing Lowder from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lowder has Jawbreak pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jawbreak manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lowder is sitting in close to Jawbreak's body. Jawbreak has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lowder is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lowder is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jawbreak.
