Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Landings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brodie Nickoson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landings paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Nickoson.
Landings is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Landings is trying to control Nickoson's posture but Nickoson avoids it.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Landings will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nickoson is looking to advance position but Landings won't allow it.
Nickoson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Nickoson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Landings knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
