The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queen looks to land a combination. James sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
James pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A combination from Queen does no damage.
James tries to counter with a clinch but Queen shakes him off and moves away.
Queen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Queen lands a right hook to the body.
Queen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Queen. That snapped James's head back.
Queen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Queen throws a right and a left that James avoids nicely.
Queen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but James moves away.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and James takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and James counters by clinching up.
James tries to work over Queen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Queen wants to break the clinch but can't.
James keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Queen's efforts to push away.
A right hook to the body lands for James.
James lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Queen backwards.
James lands a shot to the body.

James lands a hook to the side of the head.
James misses with a body punch.
Queen wants to break the clinch but can't.
James cracks Queen with a nice body shot.

James lands a left hand that snaps the head of Queen backwards.
James lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
James creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Queen with a big uppercut! Queen tries to clinch up but James pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Queen to the mat! Queen covers up and James unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
