Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sparring Fighter 1 (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nir Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighter 1 comes to the cage accompanied by Lou Reed - The day John Kennedy Died. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sparring Fighter 1!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nir Sosa!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Fighter 1.
Fighter 1 is looking to clinch.
And Sosa tries to counter it with a takedown but Fighter 1 pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Sosa checks a leg kick nicely.
Sosa tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Fighter 1 gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Fighter 1 misses with a punch on the inside.
Sosa blocks an uppercut.
Sosa fails to pull guard.
Fighter 1 tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Fighter 1 shoots for a takedown but Sosa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sosa has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fighter 1 uses from the top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Fighter 1 wants to get up but he can't break Sosa's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Fighter 1 seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Fighter 1 tries to clinch but Sosa moves away

and Sosa counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fighter 1 is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sosa dives into side control.

Fighter 1 is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sosa asserts his dominance and retains side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fighter 1 changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sosa tries to avoid it but Fighter 1 manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sosa to the ground. Sosa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fighter 1 is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sosa can do to turn this around?

Fighter 1 will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

I think Sosa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
