Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eliseo David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corey Red will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eliseo David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corey Red!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red shoots in but no luck this time.
Red misses with a wild combination.
David lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Red misses with a takedown
and David counters with a lovely shot to the body.

David closes the distance and pushes Red back into the cage.
Red fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by David as Red tries to tie him up.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

David breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Red gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Red fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but David avoids it really well and circles away.
Red misses with an uppercut.

A close second round but Corey Red will probably get the nod - 10:9.

David throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Red tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. David is in Red's guard.
Red wants to get back to his feet but David passes into half guard.

Red pushes David off looking to stand but David dives back in and keeps control.
David prevents Red from improving his position.
David will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

David is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Red sees it coming and defends easily.

David shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Red tries to kick David off in order to stand up. David Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Red tries to buck David off but David is having none of it.

Red can't do much from the bottom here.
Red is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but David is staying active.
Red might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control David haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Red looking for a sweep but David has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Eliseo David has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Corey Red is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
A nice elbow there by David.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eliseo David.
I think Red has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
