The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strong closes the distance and clinches.
Strong controlling the action here for a moment.
Strong working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Wagdy tries for a takedown but Strong manages to get underhooks.
Strong stalling.
Wagdy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Strong smiles and moves away.
Strong clinches with his opponent.
Strong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Strong rushes Wagdy and presses him up against the cage.
Wagdy pulls guard successfully.

Wagdy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wagdy is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Strong frees his head nicely. Oh but Wagdy has switched to an armbar! Strong is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
