Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Handle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ Welsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Handle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Right On. Welsh is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lets Have A War. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welsh tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Handle swivels and escapes.
Welsh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Handle is fending him off so far but Welsh persists. Nope, Handle circles away and we're back to standing.
We've been told by Handle's head coaches at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Handle looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Welsh on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Welsh ducks under a wild hook from Handle.
Welsh shoots in and drives through. Handle sprawls well.
Max Handle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TJ Welsh.
Welsh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Handle's waist but Handle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Welsh off to one side.

Welsh decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Handle manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Handle has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Handle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Welsh wants to control from the top but Handle keeps moving.

Welsh decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Handle, up you get!
Handle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Welsh fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Welsh counters with a straight right hand.

Handle gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Welsh stands up and waves to Handle to follow him.

Max Handle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Handle throws a right and a left that both miss.
Welsh moves in looking to clinch but Handle pushes him off.
Welsh takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Handle tries to bum rush Welsh with a series of wild strikes but Welsh uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Welsh clinches.
Welsh blocks an uppercut.
Welsh misses with a knee strike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Handle can't break the clinch.
Welsh just leaning against Handle, taking a breather.
Handle tries to throw a body punch but Welsh avoids it by throwing Handle back against the cage.

Handle is trying to break the clinch but Welsh is controlling him.

Welsh breaks from the clinch.
Handle scores with a sloppy right hand. Welsh should have avoided that one.
Welsh takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Handle works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Handle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Handle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Welsh moves out of range of the strikes.
Handle thows a left - swing and a miss!

Handle drops Welsh with a beautiful combination! Welsh stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Handle is looking for the KO!

Welsh is rocked!

It looks like TJ Welsh has been cut.
Handle pounces like a tiger and cracks Welsh with a vicious hook! Welsh is down but not out! Handle follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

A relieved looking Max Handle thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
