Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Cartagena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Vardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartagena comes to the cage accompanied by The Crack Attack. Vardy has chosen Battle Cry – Imagine Dragons as his entrance music. The key to victory for Don Cartagena has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vardy doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cartagena counters with a series of strikes. Vardy will be more careful next time no doubt.
Vardy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Cartagena is trying to stand back up but Vardy is controlling him

Cartagena is looking for a sweep. Vardy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cartagena is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Vardy scores with a couple of nice shots.
Vardy working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Vardy takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Cartagena pushes Vardy off and gets back to his feet.

Cartagena keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Vardy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Don Cartagena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamie Vardy.

Vardy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Vardy looks winded!
Cartagena scores with a jab to the jaw.
Cartagena throws a right hand that Vardy ducks under and follows up with a left that Vardy also avoids with ease.
Cartagena connects with a nice cross there... Vardy is looking wobbly and Cartagena recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Vardy to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Cartagena jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Don Cartagena!
Don Cartagena decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
