Nube comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Boom - P.O.D. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Davy Nube will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes swings widly with a right hand
and Nube counters with an outside leg kick.
Nube misses with a wild body shot.
Nube looks to land a right hand but Holmes moved out of range.
Nube throws a head kick but Holmes moves out of range.
Holmes throws a lazy uppercut
and Nube counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Nube avoids a punch combination nicely.
Holmes thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nube shapes to counter with a head kick.
Nube throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holmes misses with a right hand
letting Nube counter with a right hand.
Holmes throws a combination that misses
and Nube cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nube tries to clinch there but Holmes circles away.

Nube was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Holmes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Holmes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nube cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nube looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Holmes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Nube misses with a head kick.
It looked like Holmes was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

and Nube counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nube lands a nice leg kick that just misses Holmes's sensitive parts.
Nube looks to land a right hand but Holmes moved out of range.
Holmes was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Holmes throws an off balance right hand
and Nube counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Nube cracks Holmes with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Holmes looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Nube finish him?

Holmes is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nube fakes the body blow, causing Holmes to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Holmes goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
