The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourne tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wood swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Crunch! Wood slams his shin into Bourne's torso.
Wood lands with an uppercut that bounces Bourne off the cage and back into range.
Wood with a nice cross.
Bourne gets tackled into the cage by Wood. Wood maintains the clinch.
Wood with a knee to the head.
It looks like Liam Bourne has been cut.
A knee to the head by Wood.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Wood obliges.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wood lands an elbow just above Bourne 's eye.
Wood lands a knee to the body.
Wood prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bourne is breathing heavily.
Bourne tries for a takedown. No joy.
Bourne has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wood avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Wood lands a damaging elbow.

Bourne tries to pull guard but Wood holds him up against the cage and eventually Bourne drops back down to his feet.

Bourne has Wood pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wood manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Wood lands a big knee! That's hurt Bourne! Oh, he's all over the place! Wood lands another knee that sends Bourne to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thor Wood!
A relieved looking Thor Wood thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
