Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommie Mcdaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stef Power Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommie Mcdaniel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tommie Mcdaniel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stef Power Jr!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Power Jr.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcdaniel manages to get back to half guard.

Power Jr is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mcdaniel doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Power Jr.

Power Jr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mcdaniel is just riding it out for now. Power Jr eventually gives up the hold.

Mcdaniel's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcdaniel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Power Jr's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Power Jr's back!
Power Jr is really stuck here.

Power Jr wants to control his opponent's hands but Mcdaniel gets his hands free.

Mcdaniel is looking for a choke. Power Jr gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Power Jr manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Power Jr drops back looking for a leg! Mcdaniel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcdaniel manages to kick Power Jr off! Power Jr jumps back into Mcdaniel's guard.

Power Jr has gone for a leg lock! Mcdaniel slips out almost immediately though and dives into Power Jr's guard.

Mcdaniel wants to stand but Power Jr is controlling his posture from full guard.

Mcdaniel stands up over Power Jr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Power Jr is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mcdaniel defends well.
Power Jr has a closed guard, preventing Mcdaniel from standing up.

Power Jr looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Mcdaniel has picked Power Jr up and slammed him! Power Jr can't keep hold of the triangle and Mcdaniel manages to pass to side control!
Mcdaniel really is a fat lump.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mcdaniel.

Mcdaniel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Power Jr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And Power Jr tries to counter it with a takedown but Mcdaniel pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Mcdaniel tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Power Jr defends well and Mcdaniel ends up having to push Power Jr into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Power Jr dives in and scores a takedown into Mcdaniel's guard.

Power Jr drops back looking for a leg! Mcdaniel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcdaniel manages to kick Power Jr off! Power Jr jumps back into Mcdaniel's guard.
Mcdaniel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Power Jr drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Power Jr jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mcdaniel is controlling Power Jr's posture.

That was a close round but I would say that Tommie Mcdaniel will probably get the nod.

Power Jr looks for a takedown but Mcdaniel sprawls well.

Power Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mcdaniel sprawls well. Mcdaniel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Power Jr gets slowly back to his feet.
Mcdaniel throws a big counter combination but Power Jr scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Mcdaniel is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Power Jr knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Power Jr for a finish.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Power Jr shoots in for a takedown but Mcdaniel shows good takedown defense.
It looked like Mcdaniel was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Power Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Mcdaniel tries to sprawl out of it but Power Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mcdaniel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mcdaniel gets caught napping as Power Jr dives in and scores a takedown. Mcdaniel manages to retain guard.

Mcdaniel is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Power Jr presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Power Jr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Mcdaniel slaps away a takedown attempt from Power Jr, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Power Jr dives in and grabs Mcdaniel's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mcdaniel pushes down on Power Jr's head and hops out.

Mcdaniel wobbles Power Jr with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Mcdaniel dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Power Jr to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tommie Mcdaniel!
