The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redfield throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

We've been hearing reports that Redfield has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Salty keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Salty counters with a stiff right hand.
Salty cracks a nice hook into Redfield's ribs.
Salty misses with an uppercut. Redfield saw that one coming.
Redfield was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Salty tests Redfield's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Salty throws an off balance right hand

and Redfield counters with a crisp right hand that drops Salty! Redfield lets Salty back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

In his post fight interview, Chris Redfield started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Elmo Salty was interviewed post fight and said 'You win some, you lose some. I'll be back. I always do man...'.
