Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Estrada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Scott Perry!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estrada checks the leg kick.
Estrada throws a big counter combination but Perry scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
No joy there for Estrada, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Good leg kick by Estrada there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

We've been informed that Perry has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Estrada cracks Perry with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Estrada finds Perry's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Perry flops back against the ropes, eyes gazing into the distance. Estrada lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Perry will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Diego Estrada!
