The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garavito throws a looping overhand right but Anderson ducks down to avoid it.
Garavito with a nice cross.
Garavito fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Anderson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Anderson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Anderson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Anderson throws a poor cross that misses
and Garavito counters with a straight right hand.
Garavito bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Anderson's head backwards.
Garavito checks a leg kick.
A big right from Garavito misses.
A lazy left from Anderson finds it's target.
Garavito takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Anderson ducks right into an uppercut from Garavito.
Anderson throws out a loose jab but Garavito uses good head movement to avoid it.
Garavito throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Anderson counters with a straight right hand.

Anderson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Anderson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Anderson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Anderson takes a swing at Garavito's ribcage but misses.

A looping hook to the body misses from Garavito. Anderson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Anderson lands a nice shot that snaps Garavito's head back.

Anderson needs to keep his hands up - Garavito had a free shot at his head there.
Anderson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Garavito looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Garavito moves out of range as Anderson throws a body kick.
Garavito darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Anderson is rocked!
Garavito thows a left - swing and a miss!
Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Anderson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Garavito moves away.
Anderson seems to have got his legs back now.
Anderson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Garavito scores with a sloppy right hand. Anderson should have avoided that one.
Anderson walks straight into a right hand from Garavito - that's dropped him! Garavito jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Anderson from any more punishment! Anderson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

In his post fight interview, Luis Garavito started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
