Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rashad Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Willy Nilsson!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nilsson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Reilly's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nilsson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Nilsson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Nilsson is looking to work some ground and pound but Reilly has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nilsson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Reilly is proving hard to escape from.
Reilly keeping moving, preventing Nilsson from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reilly has an active guard here but Nilsson has managed to pass into half guard.
Nilsson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reilly is trying to maintain the position but Nilsson is very close to passing his half guard.

Nilsson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Reilly is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Nilsson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Reilly has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nilsson has managed to get both his arms back between Reilly's legs - danger averted.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Reilly looking to score a takedown here. Nilsson is defending well but Reilly drives through and ends up in Nilsson's guard.

Reilly gets to his feet - Nilsson follows without any prompting.
Reilly shoots in but Nilsson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nilsson thinks about the counter body kick.
Reilly with a poor takedown
and Nilsson counters with a nice uppercut.
Reilly takes a jab right on the kisser.


Reilly is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nilsson batters Reilly with a massive right followed by a huge left! Reilly is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Nilsson lands a final crushing right hand to drop Reilly to the mat with a gruesome thud! Nilsson is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Willy Nilsson!
