Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Rovanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Noon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rovanov comes to the cage accompanied by System Of A Down - Chop Suey!. John Noon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Rovanov. That snapped Noon's head back.

Noon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Rovanov explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Noon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rovanov swivels and escapes.

Rovanov gets a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Noon working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Rovanov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Noon smiles and moves away.
Rovanov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like John Noon has been cut.
Rovanov clobbers Noon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rovanov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Noon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Noon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rovanov is looking to counter punch.
Rovanov swats away the attempt to clinch by Noon.

Rovanov drops his shoulder and cracks Noon with a huge uppercut! Noon goes down! Can Rovanov finish him?
Noon doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Noon is still in real trouble! Can Rovanov finish him?
Rovanov postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Noon covers up, he's hurt! Rovanov keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Rovanov and the ref steps in to end the fight! Rovanov can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
