Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Artie DeVanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Pierno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pierno has chosen Umberto Tozzi - Gloria as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Tim Pierno enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeVanzo with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
DeVanzo scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Pierno moves out of range of the leg kick from DeVanzo.
Pierno wants to counter the offense by DeVanzo and move into the clinch position.
DeVanzo is looking to slow Pierno down with leg kicks.
Pierno tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but DeVanzo was well out of range. Poor timing from Pierno.

and Pierno counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps DeVanzo thinking.
Pierno throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck DeVanzo on the side of the head.

Oh DeVanzo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pierno takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
DeVanzo seems to have got his legs back now.

That was a close round but I would say that Artie DeVanzo will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for DeVanzo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
