Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Asmar Dagher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Lorenzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raul Lorenzo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Asmar Dagher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Raul Lorenzo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorenzo misses with a takedown attempt
and Dagher counters with an inside leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lorenzo is defended easily by Dagher.
We've been told by Dagher's head coaches at The Pure Warrior that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lorenzo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dagher tries to avoid it but Lorenzo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dagher to the ground. Dagher escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Asmar Dagher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raul Lorenzo.
Nice sprawl there from Dagher as Lorenzo shoots in.
Dagher tries to sprawl but Lorenzo drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Dagher wants to get back to his feet.
Lorenzo is working for a submission of some sort.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dagher is looking for a sweep. Lorenzo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lorenzo is looking for a kimura but Dagher is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lorenzo to get the leverage.
Lorenzo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dagher sees it coming and defends easily.
Lorenzo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lorenzo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dagher does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lorenzo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dagher is just riding it out for now. Lorenzo eventually gives up the hold.
Dagher is defending against the submission attempts here by Lorenzo.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Lorenzo escapes and gets back to his feet.
Lorenzo shoots and misses
and Dagher counters with a nice uppercut.
Lorenzo tries for a takedown but Dagher circles away easily
and Dagher counters with a big right hand! Oh Lorenzo is in trouble here! Dagher follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Asmar Dagher!
After winning the bout, Asmar Dagher thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
