Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Takano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erick Clap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clap is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Burn it to the ground. Erick Clap acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuki Takano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 2, fighting out of New York, Erick Clap!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takano scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Takano stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Takano wants it to stay on the feet.
Clap avoids the head kick by Takano.
Clap works the jab nicely.
Takano tries to land a leg kick but Clap saw it coming and moves away.
Clap cracks Takano with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Takano takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Clap lands with a nice body kick.
Takano walks into a straight right hand from Clap.
Takano motions for Clap to come forward. Takano throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Takano is looking to chop away at Clap's legs.
Clap lands with an uppercut that bounces Takano off the cage and back into range.
Takano connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clap gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Takano crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Clap - the referee stops the clock and Takano gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Clap. Takano manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Clap is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Takano just misses with a punch to the body.

and Clap counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Takano steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clap.

Clap fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Takano has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Clap takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Clap throws a wild body kick that Takano sees coming a mile off.
Takano throws a front kick aimed at Clap's knee but Clap avoids it well.
Takano connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Clap throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Takano lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Clap attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

and Clap counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Clap moves out of range of the body kick from Takano.
Takano throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Clap staying out of range there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Takano takes the fight into the clinch.

Takano thuds his right hand into Clap's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Takano lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Clap lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Clap throws a low kick but it's checked well by Takano.
Takano takes a body punch but keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Erick Clap showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Clap's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Takano fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Clap.
Clap throws a front kick aimed at Takano's knee but Takano avoids it well.

Clap shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Clap showed some decent athleticism there.
Takano pushes Clap off looking to stand but Clap dives back in and keeps control.
Clap is pressing down on Takano's thigh, looking to free his foot. Takano is holding on for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clap is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Takano is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
