Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Selie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thiago decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Thiago thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Thiago is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Selie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Thiago.
Thiago is pressing down on Selie's thigh, looking to free his foot. Selie is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thiago stalling.

Selie pushes Thiago off looking to stand but Thiago dives back in and keeps control.

Selie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Selie shoots in but Thiago avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Anderson Thiago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Selie.

Selie is trying to drag Thiago to the mat but Thiago just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Thiago jumps guard but Selie turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Thiago has hold of one of Selie's legs. Selie is fighting the takedown attempt but Thiago gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Thiago's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Selie is bucking up trying to escape but Thiago cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Anderson Thiago overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Thiago has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Selie's body.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Thiago's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Selie is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Thiago gets his way!

Thiago has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Selie has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Thiago wants to control but Selie is keeping busy.

Thiago controlling well, preventing Selie from escaping the position.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Thiago controlling the positon.

Thiago keeps control of the position as Selie tries to break free.
Thiago is looking for a choke. Selie gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Selie manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Selie is looking to pass into half guard but Thiago pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Thiago is in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anderson Thiago dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Nice body kick from Selie.
Thiago scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Selie doesn't seem bothered though.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Selie enables Thiago to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Selie manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Thiago, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
