Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Kovalev!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aims throws a series of punches but Kovalev moves out of range.
Kovalev looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Aims lands a nice shot to the body.
Kovalev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Aims throws a jab but it's blocked by Kovalev.
Aims throws a right hand that misses
and Kovalev counters with a one-two to the body.
Aims lands a body shot.
Aims dodges the punch combination from Kovalev.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kovalev is trying to push Aims away but Aims has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Aims definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Kovalev throws a nice looking combination but Aims bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kovalev throws a right hand that Aims ducks under and follows up with a left that Aims also avoids with ease.
Aims went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Kovalev lands a glancing blow to the side of Aims's head.
Aims misses with an uppercut.
Aims changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kovalev throws a right and a left that Aims avoids nicely.
Some wild striking there from Kovalev.
Kovalev drives through and clinches with Aims against the cage.
Kovalev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kovalev shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Aims manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kovalev would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Aims is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Aims manages to break the clinch.
Aims closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Peter Kovalev has been cut.
Kovalev throws a right hand that Aims ducks under and follows up with a left that Aims also avoids with ease.
A right-left combo lands from Aims.
Aims misses with a body shot.
Gary Aims is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kovalev forces Aims back against the cage and clinches.
Aims breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Aims slips a jab and a cross from Kovalev.
Kovalev moves into the clinch successfully.

Aims manages to break the clinch.
Peter Kovalev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aims cracks Kovalev with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Kovalev falls to his knees and Aims doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
