Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Murray Estes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick The Destroyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murray Estes has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Murray Estes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick The Destroyer!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Destroyer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Estes pinned against the cage. Estes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The Destroyer fails with a takedown attempt.
The Destroyer shoots for a double leg takedown but Estes sprawls well. He's pushed The Destroyer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Murray Estes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick The Destroyer.
Horrible takedown attempt by The Destroyer or perhaps it was just good defense by Estes, which made it look bad.

The Destroyer shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Estes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Estes goes for a double leg but The Destroyer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as The Destroyer continues to drive forward.

The Destroyer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Estes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. The Destroyer is in Estes's guard.

The Destroyer wants to control from the top but Estes keeps moving.
The Destroyer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Estes keeping full guard, as The Destroyer tries to pass.
The Destroyer trying to control the position from guard on top but Estes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Estes looking to hit a scissor sweep but The Destroyer is one step ahead there.
Estes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The Destroyer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The Destroyer's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Estes pulls The Destroyer in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
The Destroyer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Estes as he avoids it easily.

The Destroyer closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Estes's guard.
Estes is adopting a defensive guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Estes is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick The Destroyer dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Estes throws a series of punches but The Destroyer moves out of range.

Estes has taken the fight to the clinch.

Estes gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, The Destroyer regains guard.
The Destroyer wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Estes manages to pass to side control.

Estes is controlling the pace.

Estes wants to stand but The Destroyer has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if The Destroyer can do anything to dispel that myth.

Estes is trying to control the action in half guard but The Destroyer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The Destroyer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Estes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Estes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Estes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Estes lands a big shot there that rocks The Destroyer but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The Destroyer is in a horrible position here. Estes smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Estes is going oldschool here, as he tries to force The Destroyer to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so The Destroyer shrugs it off.

The Destroyer is bucking up trying to escape but Estes cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Estes trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The Destroyer tries to reverse the position but Estes maintains control.
The Destroyer wants to hold on but Estes pushes him away.
Estes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Estes is in the full mount, landing strikes.

The Destroyer wants to control but Estes is having none of it.
Estes looking to control and managing it successfully.
