Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Tonon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Stout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gary Tonon!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tonon scores with a head kick.

It looks like Sam Stout has been cut.
Stout throws out a leg kick but Tonon moves out of range and Stout only half commits.
Tonon let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Nice sprawl there from Tonon as Stout shoots in.
Gary Tonon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tonon avoids the head kick by Stout.
Stout with a poor takedown
and Stout takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tonon sizes up Stout with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Tonon connects with a solid leg kick.
Tonon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Crunch! Tonon slams his shin into Stout's torso.
Tonon scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stout doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tonon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Stout. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tonon throws a right hand that Stout ducks under and follows up with a left that Stout also avoids with ease.
Tonon throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Tonon scores with a nice strike.
Stout with a lazy takedown attempt
and Tonon counters with a nice uppercut.

Oooooh!!! Tonon has knocked Stout down with a huge combo! Tonon steps away and waves a wobbly Stout back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Stout is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stout shoots in looking for a takedown. Tonon tries to sprawl out of it but Stout keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tonon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Oh Stout is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stout is breathing heavily.
Stout closes the distance and clinches up with Tonon, looking for a takedown. Stout pushes Tonon against the cage but Tonon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stout seems to have got his legs back now.

Tonon lands a left and a right that send Stout crashing to the mat, dazed. Tonon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Stout is rocked!
Gary Tonon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tonon lands with a right and another and another! Stout is in big trouble! Tonon lands again and this time it's lights out for Stout! A quality knockout there for Tonon.
