The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luca throws a combination that misses

Luca throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Davis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Davis dives in for a single leg takedown but Luca sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Davis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Luca sprawls well initially but Davis persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Davis decides to stand and escape the position.
Davis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Luca throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Davis throws a wild body kick that Luca sees coming a mile off.

Davis shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Luca is trying to defend but Davis finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Davis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ben Davis will probably get the nod.
