Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rab Rehab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rehab comes into the arena with saturday nights alright for fighting blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Rehab fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Aldo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rehab misses with a low kick.
Aldo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Aldo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Rehab gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Rehab fails to land.
Aldo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rehab lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Aldo.

Rehab pushes Aldo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Rehab lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Aldo wants to get back to striking at distance but Rehab won't allow it.

Rehab pulls guard successfully.
Rehab lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Rehab thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rehab drops back looking for a leg! Aldo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aldo manages to kick Rehab off! Rehab jumps back into Aldo's guard.

Aldo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rehab. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rehab thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rehab accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rehab has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Rehab distracts Aldo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Rehab passes Aldo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Rehab passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Aldo!
Aldo seems to have recovered his senses.

A big strike lands for Rehab! That's really hurt Aldo and he's turned his back - Rehab keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Rehab jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
