The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herring fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Devinson avoids it really well and circles away.
Devinson is looking for the big counter here.

Devinson gets the takedown into side control.
Herring taking punishment in the form of punches.
Devinson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Devinson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Herring to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Devinson tries to bum rush Herring with a series of wild strikes but Herring uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Devinson throws a fast counter high kick but Herring manages to duck under it in time.

Devinson shoots and scores a devastating slam takedown! Herring is unconscious as Devinson celebrates over his stricken foe!
