Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phoenix Templar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Wolf shoots for a takedown but Templar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Templar looks to land a right hand but Wolf moved out of range.

Wolf forces Templar back against the cage and clinches.
Wolf has Templar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Templar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Templar tries to throw a body punch but Wolf avoids it by throwing Templar back against the cage.

Phoenix Templar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hugo Wolf.

Templar lands a nice hook to Wolf's body. Wolf takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Templar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Templar is pressed up against the cage. Wolf has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Templar down to the mat. Templar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
