Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julio Harrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchell Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Julio Harrell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mitchell Ho!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ho closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ho throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Harrell really is a fat lump.
Ho looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Still in half guard, Ho seems content to control.
Harrell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ho is trying to control the action in half guard but Harrell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Harrell trying to hold on to Ho's head to control him but Ho postures up.
Ho is looking to advance position but Harrell won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ho is trying to control. Harrell wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Ho tries to keep at a distance but Harrell has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ho wants to get back to striking at distance but Harrell won't allow it.
Harrell is looking to take this one to the mat.
Harrell blocks a body shot from Ho.

Harrell breaks from the clinch.

Harrell shoots in and bounces Ho off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Harrell postures up in Ho's guard and throws a big left but Ho blocks it.

Ho controlling the position.
Ho wants to sweep here but Harrell controlling him for the moment.
Harrell content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Ho manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Harrell is trying to pull guard but Ho has him pressed against the cage.
Harrell drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ho pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julio Harrell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ho bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ho moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

You can see the frustration on Harrell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ho is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Harrell's shoulder. That is not cool.
Ho postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ho trying to control the position but Harrell is working away.
Ho might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Harrell haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ho tries to score with some ground and pound. Harrell controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Ho decides to stand up, so the ref orders Harrell to his feet.

Ho shoots in and bounces Harrell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ho throws a strike but Harrell rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Harrell throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Harrell trying to control the position from guard on top but Ho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mitchell Ho dominated that round.
That's time! Harrell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Ho shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Harrell napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Harrell throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Harrell gets caught flat footed, as Ho shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harrell keeping moving, preventing Ho from controlling successfully.

Ho gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Ho drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ho misses with the ground and pound.
Ho controls the position.
Harrell lands a decent little punch to the body.
Harrell has one of Ho's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harrell tries to buck Ho off but Ho is having none of it.

Ho tries to score with some ground and pound. Harrell controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
You can see the frustration on Harrell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ho decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Some wild striking there from Ho.
A head kick misses from Harrell.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Ho shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ho showed some decent athleticism there.
Ho moves nicely into side control.
Ho throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Harrell works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Mitchell Ho has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ho content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Ho is working for a kimura but Harrell is defending it quite comfortably.
Ho wants to pass the guard but Harrell is defending well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ho wants to stand but Harrell has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Mitchell Ho will probably get the nod - 10:9.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Harrell is looking to work some ground and pound but Ho has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ho is looking for a triangle here but Harrell uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Ho is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Harrell is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Ho takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Harrell is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ho to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ho shrugs it off.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Harrell cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Ho wants to hold on but Harrell pushes him away.
Ho takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Ho tries to reverse the position but Harrell maintains control.
Harrell with shots to the head and body - Ho looks very uncomfortable down there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ho is in a horrible position here. Harrell smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Harrell lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

And that's the end of the fight!
Julio Harrell showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Ho has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
