Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deshawn Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stoyak Stoyachnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoyak Stoyachnikov acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw misses with a jab, cross combination.

Stoyachnikov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shaw, pushing him back against the cage.
A short right from Stoyachnikov.
A short body shot lands from Stoyachnikov as the two fighters clinch.
Shaw's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Still in the clinch, Stoyachnikov scores with a nice short uppercut.

Stoyachnikov has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Shaw is trying to keep an underhook but Stoyachnikov manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Stoyachnikov is nestled in close to Shaw, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Shaw is rocked!
Stoyachnikov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stoyachnikov scores with a big shot! Shaw's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Shaw! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Stoyak Stoyachnikov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
